A Goose Creek man faces drug charges after a traffic stop led to the seizure of 33 grams of cocaine, police said.
Deangelo Laprince Brown, 28, of Harbor Lake Drive was pulled over Friday afternoon near Highway 52 and Medway Road in Goose Creek by Berkeley County deputies, said a Sheriff's Office release.
Traces of cocaine were found in the car and another 11 grams discovered on Brown's person after a search, according to the release.
The sheriff's Drug Enforcement Unit then got a search warrant and allegedly found another 22 grams of cocaine and 2 grams of marijuana at Brown's apartment.
He has been charged with two counts of trafficking cocaine, as well as driving with a suspended license.
Brown is being held at the Hill-Finklea Detention Center in Moncks Corner awaiting a bond hearing.
