Magnolia Plantation and Gardens is lifting its admission fees Friday in celebration of National Public Gardens Day.
Attendees must print out a voucher from www.nationalpublicgardensday.org in order to be admitted free.
The plantation at 3550 Ashley River Road will join other members of the American Public Gardens Association, such as Arnold Arboretum at Harvard University and Calloway Gardens at Pine Mountain, Ga., in recognition of the holiday, which was established five years ago.
