Young people wanting to learn more about law enforcement are invited to consider the Mount Pleasant Police Department's Law Enforcement Explorer program.
The department announced informational meetings to answer questions at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, Monday and May 20 at police headquarters at 100 Ann Edwards Lane.
The program is for young men and women ages 14 to 20 who want to learn more law enforcement. Topics may include accident scene procedures, bomb threat response, felony car stops, proper equipment usage and building searches, according to the announcement.
