MYRTLE BEACH - The month of May means the return of Military Appreciation Days to Myrtle Beach.
The month of events kicks off this weekend with the display of four Vietnam-era military helicopters at the Myrtle Beach Convention Center.
A traveling model of the Vietnam memorial in Washington returns and will be on display from May 14 through May 18.
And on May 24, the city holds its Ocean Boulevard Memorial Day Parade with television host Montel Williams as this year's grand marshal. The parade is followed by a picnic featuring big band music.
It's the sixth year for the military celebration on the Grand Strand.
