The weekend shooting of a 25-year-old man in Ladson has been ruled a suicide, the Dorchester County coroner said Monday.
Douglas Moses, 25, of Mickler Drive died of a gunshot wound Saturday in his Mickler Drive home after deputies say he shot his girlfriend during an argument.
His girlfriend's wound did not appear to be life-threatening, the Dorchester County Sheriff's Office said.
Moses was scheduled to graduate from the S.C. Highway Patrol's academy next month.
His death was deemed a suicide after an autopsy, Coroner Chris Nisbet said.
