The Lord Berkeley Conservation Trust has appointed Jim Rozier, former Berkeley County supervisor, as its incoming president. New board members are Goose Creek Mayor Mike Heitzler, attorney Mac McQuillin and Bart Sabine, who has worked in forestry and land management.

Art Pappas, managing partner at Pappas Ventures, has joined the Medical University of South Carolina Foundation for Research Development's board of directors.
