Charleston Bed Race

What: The fifth annual Charleston Bed Race will begin with the Grand Parade of Beds, followed by the competition, food and libations. Run for Haiti

What: The Jefferson Service Club at School of the Arts has adopted the Gai Foyer School in Bonne Fin, Haiti and attendees can walk, run or stroll for "Project Haiti" which provides monetary aid toward the school's renovation. Food, games and entertainment will follow the run.

Tea Party presented by The Summerville Orchestra Friends

What: The Summerville Orchestra Friends will host this Iced Tea Party to benefit the Summerville Orchestra and in addition to iced tea and finger foods, the event will feature a fashion show, silent auction and music from the orchestra's woodwind ensemble. Dress is "smart casual" and reserved tables are available for groups of 6-8 people.
