The weather forecast couldn't get much better than that for the coming weekend in the Charleston area.

The National Weather Service station in North Charleston predicted those conditions through Sunday.

The same weather is expected to persist into the first part of next week, too, until the chance of thunderstorms increases Tuesday through Thursday.

Here's the complete forecast from the weather service:

Friday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 81. Southwest wind 9 to 17 mph.

Friday night: Partly cloudy, with a low around 62. Southwest wind 6 to 11 mph becoming light west after midnight.

Saturday: Sunny, with a high near 80. North wind around 6 mph becoming east in the afternoon.

Saturday night: Mostly clear, with a low around 59. South wind 5 to 7 mph.

Sunday: Sunny, with a high near 81. Light and variable wind becoming south 5 to 8 mph in the morning.

Sunday night: Partly cloudy, with a low around 62.

Monday: Partly sunny, with a high near 81.

Monday night: Mostly cloudy, with a low around 66.

Tuesday: A chance of showers and thunderstorms. Partly sunny, with a high near 80. Chance of precipitation is 30 percent.

Wednesday: A chance of showers and thunderstorms. Partly sunny, with a high near 79. Chance of precipitation is 30 percent.
