Six people have been arrested and charged in two recent but apparently unrelated burglaries in Berkeley County, the Sheriff's Office said.
In the first case, the Sheriff's Office worked with Summerville Police and made three arrests following an April 19 burglary on Rail Drive in Summerville.
William Anthony Howell, 28, of Summerville and Jennifer Elizabeth Day, 29, of Moncks Corner were charged with second degree burglary. David Clark Mount, 33, of Summerville was charged with receiving and possessing stolen goods.
The second case followed the April 21 burglary of a home on Dehayville Road, Pinopolis, where firearms, electronics and other goods were taken.
The Sheriff's Office arrested two 17-year-olds and a juvenile, who is being charged as an adult. Charged with first-degree burglary are the juvenile and Cameron John Davidson, of Pinopolis and Taylor James Steese, of Cross.
