Editor's note: Due to a disagreement over ownership of our previous photo of the week, our editors have chosen a new photo to appear in Friday's People section.
We gotta tell you, some of this week's 'Playing Tourist' photos made us feel like a tourist in our town.
All 28 entries did a great job of giving us a new look at something we may take for granted after seeing it every day.
Our editors selected Dr. William B. Ellison, Jr.'s photo to appear in Friday's newspaper. Get your hands on a copy of the People section to read the editors' comments.
Next week's assignment: My Lowcountry neighborhood. Tell us what it's like living where you live - in one picture. Feel free to include people in your photos.
Just like the last few weeks, we might want to use some of the photos in My Charleston magazine. If you'd like yours to be included please tell us in your email.
- Send just one (1) photograph to firstname.lastname@example.org by noon on Tuesday, April 29. Include your name, town and where the photo was taken. If you send us multiple photos we will select one randomly.
- We will allow photographs with reasonable watermarks to run in the gallery but for the winning photo that runs in the newspaper we must have a photo that does not have a watermark. If you want to send us one with the watermark (to run online) and one without (to possibly run in the newspaper) please feel free.
