The National Weather Service anticipates a slight chance of thunderstorms Tuesday night.
Meteorologists pegged the chance of rain at 20 percent.
Any storms should come before 11 p.m., the weather service said, but the threat of rain will linger until 3 a.m. Wednesday.
Otherwise, people in the Charleston should expect tranquil weather and mild air Tuesday and throughout the rest of the week.

Tuesday: Sunny, with a high near 84. Light west wind increasing to 6 to 11 mph in the morning.
Tuesday night: A slight chance of showers and thunderstorms before 11pm, then a slight chance of showers between 11pm and 3am. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 59. West wind 8 to 10 mph. Chance of precipitation is 20 percent.
Wednesday: Sunny, with a high near 77. North wind 8 to 10 mph.
Wednesday night: Clear, with a low around 53. North wind around 5 mph becoming calm in the evening.
Thursday: Sunny, with a high near 77. Northeast wind 6 to 8 mph becoming southeast in the afternoon.
Thursday night: Partly cloudy, with a low around 62.
Friday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 80.
Friday night: Partly cloudy, with a low around 64.
Saturday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 82.
Saturday night: Partly cloudy, with a low around 61.
Sunday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 83.
Sunday night: Partly cloudy, with a low around 63.
Monday: Partly sunny, with a high near 81.
