The Berkeley County Sheriff's Office has charged a Moncks Corner woman in connection with a shooting Sunday.
Shelly Ann Taylor, 36, of Winnow Court, has been charged with attempted murder and possession of a weapon during the commission of a violent crime, according to the Sheriff's Office.
When deputies responded to 303 Winnow Court in the Planters Trace subdivision, they found a man with a gunshot wound to his chest.
Trent Steven Needler, 46, who is described as Taylor's boyfriend, was transported to a local hospital where his condition is listed as critical but stable, according to the incident report.
Deputies have responded to that address for criminal domestic violence calls three times previously but each time the victim would not cooperate, according to the Sheriff's Office. After an incident on Sept. 26, when deputies noted injury to Taylor, Needler was charged with criminal domestic violence. That case is still pending.
Taylor is being held at the Hill-Finklea Detention Center.
