Miner Crosby Community Center in North Charleston is opening next week after 10 months of construction,
The center is located at 3901 Paramount Drive.
After-school programs, summer camps and civic meetings are among the planned uses for the center. The building will also be available for private rentals.
The previous center was demolished to make way for the new 3,100-square-foot facility.
At 10:30 a.m. Monday, North Charleston City Council and Mayor Keith Summey will hold a ribbon-cutting ceremony to mark the occasion.
