Summerville - Police are asking for help in identifying a man they say robbed a bank Thursday afternoon.
The man walked into the BB&T bank at Dorchester and Trolley roads at about 12:40 p.m. and demanded money, said Capt. Jon Rogers of the Summerville Police Department.
The suspect was described as a white, 6 feet tall and weighing about 240 pounds, Rogers said. The man was wearing a camouflage jacket and hat, shorts and black shoes.
The suspect fled on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash, Rogers said. There were no injuries reported.
The department released surveillance photos and asked for the public's help. Anyone who can identify the suspect can contact the Summerville police at 851-4100.
