Wando and Bishop England high schools will meet for the girls' lacrosse Lower State title on Thursday night, with the winner advancing to Saturday's state championship match.
The Lower State final is set for 6 p.m. Thursday at Bishop England.
Wando (12-1) and Bishop England (12-1) split two matches during the regular season. Wando, seeded No. 2 in the Lower State, advanced to the Lower State finals with wins over Spring Valley and Chapin.
The top-seeded Bishops have beaten Socastee and Academic Magnet in the playoffs.
Wando, coached by Jessica Stralkowski, is led by junior Casey Costello, senior Christian Oliver and senior Jessie Bunting. The Bishops are coached by Jeff Weiner and feature Elena Bosco, Taylor Kennigton and Caitlin Greenho.
J.L. Mann and Fort Mill are battling for the Upper State title. The girls' state final is set for 11 a.m. Saturday at White Knoll High School in Lexington.
Wando won the state title in 2011. Bishop England made the state finals last year, losing to J.L. Mann.
