Mount Pleasant police are trying to identify a man accused of stealing a rental truck that may have been used during the burglary of a Mount Pleasant home.
A surveillance image released Tuesday shows a man at the scene of the Budget truck's theft from Rivers Avenue in North Charleston.
A rental matching the truck's description was spotted Sunday at the scene of a burglary on Cliffwood Street in Mount Pleasant's Groves Manor subdivision, police said.
Suspects in the burglary were described as two white men around the age of 30, police said.
Police believe the suspects may frequent North Charleston's Rivers and Aviation avenues or Remount Road.
The truck was recently seen in North Charleston with the tag number 2LX739, police said.
