Sure, it will feel like winter - again - Wednesday. But it's not even an Arctic wave.

"More Canadian," said meteorologist Bob Bright, National Weather Service, Charleston.

By Wednesday morning, temperatures are expected to plunge some 20 degrees or more - into the 40s at the Weather Service office in North Charleston and barely if at all poking into the 60s later in the day. No freeze is expected. Not even frost is likely, although temperatures will drop into the upper 30s in the outer counties.

It may be the last cold blast for the season, dipping this time only from Canada instead of the Arctic.

Temps here will warm slightly Thursday then start to climb, but clouds and a chance of showers will keep Friday cool.

On Saturday, in time for Easter weekend, temps will climb back to the upper 70s.
