A school bus driver was injured this morning in a wreck near Patriot Boulevard and Ashley Phosphate Road, officials said.
According to Dorchester County School District 2 spokeswoman Pat Raynor, the school bus was carrying six students to Fort Dorchester High School when it was struck by a car.
No students were hurt in the collision, Raynor said, but the bus driver's arm was injured. Raynor did not know the extent of the injury.
Drivers should expect delays in that area while authorities work the wreck.
