Police officers and firefighters will see who can pull a fire truck the fastest Saturday at the College of Charleston.
Mount Pleasant and Charleston teams will compete in the second annual Fire Truck Pull at 1 p.m. The contest will be held on George Street between Glebe and Coming streets.
Each team will get two tries to pull a fire truck. The team with the best time will get a $300 gift certificate to Halls Chophouse, as well as bragging rights as champions, according to the Mount Pleasant Police Department.
Food, music and a dunk tank will help raise money for Wounded Warriors.
The contest is sponsored by Pi Kappa Alpha fraternity.
