A suspect in the robbery of a James Island Subway and a Charleston Kangaroo gas station has been arrested.
James Blake Jr., 32, of Humbert Road on Johns Island was arrested Thursday and charged with two counts of second-degree burglary.
Somebody broke into the Subway at 345 Folly Road through the drive-through window about 10:30 p.m. March 28, according to Charleston police spokesman Charles Francis.
Somebody used a brick to shatter the glass of the front door of the Kangaroo at 246 Calhoun St. and took the cash register about 12:30 a.m. Thursday, Francis said.
Blake was being held in the Charleston County jail.
