A picnic will be held Saturday for the loved ones of area homicide victims.
This year's Homicide Survivors' Picnic is from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at North Charleston's Riverfront Park.
Organizers expect more than 200 people to gather for the 14th annual event, according to a news release.
Attendees can expect to enjoy food and games while displaying photos of their deceased loved ones.
The event is sponsored by the Charleston County Sheriff's Office of Victim Services and Medical University Hospital's Crime Victims' Center, according to the release. It is hosted by North Charleston Police Department Victim Services.
