The brothers whose bodies were found Tuesday in Williamsburg County were from the Charleston area.
They were Fred Felder III, 57, of Charleston, and Calvin Felder, 54, of Mount Pleasant, according to Williamsburg County Coroner Harrison McKnight. He declined to say how they might have died. The Medical University of South Carolina is performing autopsies.
The bodies were found around 11:30 a.m. on Cedar Creek Road near Andrews, according to an incident report from the Williamsburg County Sheriff's Office. The area is north of the Francis Marion National Forest between Georgetown and St. Stephen.
Family members told deputies the two brothers had been engaged in an ongoing argument over the weekend, according to the report.
