Those who have lost loved ones to violent crime are asked to join a rally in Hampton Park Friday.
The youth march, rally and candlelight vigil starts at 5:30 p.m., according to the Rev. Thomas Dixon, founder of The Coalition (People United To Take Back Our Community).
People are asked to bring signs and photos of lost loved ones - as well as tambourines and horns - but signs are not allowed on sticks in the park, he said.
Hampton Park is near The Citadel.
Reach Dave Munday at 937-5553.
