Three West Ashley men were arrested Thursday after a search of a house turned up cocaine, marijuana and a gun, according to the Charleston County Sheriff's Office.
Deputies searched a house at 856 Tripe St. and said they found about 3.5 ounces of marijuana, 1.5 ounces of cocaine base, an ounce of powdered cocaine and a loaded Smith & Wesson 9 mm pistol.
The house is in a neighborhood off Sycamore Avenue where police have been working to clear out drug dealers.
Brian L. Ancrum, 24, and Joshua Grampus, 21, were charged with trafficking cocaine, trafficking cocaine base, manufacturing cocaine base, possession of a weapon during the commission of a violent crime and child endangerment.
Deshon H. Ancrum, 21, was charged with possession of marijuana with intent to distribute and child endangerment.
The men were charged with child endangerment because a microwave that was used to cook meals for a child was also used to cook cocaine, and the marijuana was in view the child, according to the arrest warrants.
All three men were being held in the Charleston County jail on Friday, Brian Ancrum on $750,000 bail, Grampus on $375,000 bail and Deshon Ancrum on $200,000 bail.
