Colleton County sheriff's deputies are searching for an unknown gunman who wounded two people in a nightclub shooting.
Gunfire erupted around 9:30 p.m. Sunday at Club Rose on Red Root Road in the Ruffin community, according to an incident report.
Sheriff's deputies responded to Colleton Medical Center shortly after the shooting to question any potential victims in need of treatment.
According to deputies, a man arrived at the hospital with a gunshot wound to his upper left leg. A second man later arrived with a wound to his back.
Both men told sheriff's deputies they were shot while at Club Rose.
Investigators questioned a group of people who were at the nightclub, but no one provided information about the shooter, deputies said.
The shooting remains under investigation.
