Temperatures are expected to warm up and reach the 80s this week before the rain arrives this weekend, according to forecasters with the National Weather Service.
Today the cooler temperatures will climb to the 70s by the afternoon.
Tuesday more sunny skies are likely with the temperature reaching the lower 80s with wind gusts up to 20 mph.
Wednesday the temperatures are expected to remain about the same before dropping a few degrees Thursday.
High temperatures in the 70s and lows in the 50s are likely Thursday and Friday with the possibility of some rain in the evening.
The 20 percent chance of showers remains Saturday and partly sunny skies are likely Sunday.
