North Charleston police officers are investigating a robbery that occurred Monday morning at a Walmart.

The man entered the Money Center inside the Walmart on Dorchester Road at Oakbrook shortly before 9 a.m. and demanded money from the employee, police spokesman Spencer Pryor said.

Surveillance video shows the man being dropped off in front of the store by a red car, Pryor said. The man, who did not show a weapon, took an undisclosed amount of money and fled the store. He ran toward the back of the Walmart and got back in the car.

The suspect is described as a white male, about 5-foot-9 and heavy set. He had a beard and wore a camouflage cap and jacket, Pryor said.

No one was injured.
