A second teenager has been arrested after a boy was shot in the rear end in North Charleston Sunday night.
The 15-year-old boy was shot on Corley Drive after an altercation with a group of young people outside his house, according to police.
A 13-year-old boy suspected of being the gunman was arrested Wednesday and charged with charged with attempted murder and possession of a firearm during the commission of a violent crime, police spokesman Spencer Pryor said.
A 15-year-old girl who police believe drove the shooter to and from the location was arrested Monday and charged with attempted murder.
The boy who was shot told police a group of young people approached him outside his home and asked where his sister was. When he said he didn't know, a young man in the group pulled out a gun and started shooting at him as he tried to run away, according to the incident report. The boy was taken to a hospital for treatment.
