Two Colleton County men were arrested Wednesday after a gun sale went bad.
A 23-year-old Walterboro man told deputies a friend asked him to meet two men outside his house on Greenfield Lane and buy a gun from them, according to the incident report. The victim said the friend asked him to buy the gun because he couldn't be there for the meeting.
While the victim was looking at the gun he wanted to buy, the men pulled out guns and told him to hand over his own gun and open the door to his friend's house, according to the report. When he told them he didn't have a key, he said they made him kick in the door.
Inside the house, he said they took a handgun and rifle from the bedroom, a wallet with about $1,500 in cash, and a plastic pretzel jar with about $200 in change from the kitchen counter.
Quenton Sanders, 20, of Round O was arrested and charged with armed robbery, kidnapping, first-degree burglary and possession of a weapon during the commission of a violent crime.
Matthew Deshon Richardson, 18, of Estill was charged as an accessory.
