Auburn captured its second Hootie at Bulls Bay Intercollegiate golf men's golf title in three years Tuesday, shooting a final-round 15-under-par 273 for a three-shot victory over South Carolina.
The Tigers were 12-under-par 852 for the three-day tournament. South Carolina shot 276 while College of Charleston finished third at 857, shooting a final-round 278.
Auburn also won the 212 Hootie event.
Auburn's Niclas Carlsson, who was the medalist in 2012, and Ben Stow of Kentucky tied for low individual honors at 7-under 209 with Stow taking the title in a playoff.
Will Starke led South Carolina, finishing seventh at 212. Will Murphy and Ben Dietrich tied for 11th at 214.
The College of Charleston was led by junior Zach Munroe, who tied for third individually at 69-210. John Jonas tied for 11th for the Cougars at 214. First-round co-leader Josh Lorenzetti shot a final-round 66 and finished in a tie for 15th at 215.
Charleston Southern finished 11th with a three-day score of 889. Will Pieper led the Buccaneers, shooting 74-220, good for a 28th-place tie.

Texas Tech jumped from fourth place Tuesday to capture the Briar's Creek Invitational women's college golf tournament played at The Golf Club at Briar's Creek on Johns Island.
The Red Raiders shot a final-round 286, 2 under par, and finished the 54-hole event at 24-over-par 888, four strokes better than runner-up Penn State. East Carolina at 894, Georgia Regents University Augusta at 895 and Clemson at 899 rounded out the top five in the 17-team event.
Host College of Charleston finished 15th at 922 while Charleston Southern was 17th at 985.
Penn State's Christina Vosters shot a final-round 68 to finish at 215 and win the individual championship by two shots over South Florida's Ashley Burke.
Clemson was led by Lauren Salazar, who tied for seventh individually at 220. Laura Fuenfstueck of the College of Charleston tied for 12th at 222. Charleston Southern was led by Torey Johnson with a 237 total.
