"Wheel of Fortune" will be looking for players Saturday and Sunday at Tanger Outlets.
Representatives of the television gameshow will draw names at random to play a simulated version of the game, according to an announcement from the show's communications department. Contestants can win prizes as they are evaluated as potential contestants for the broadcast version of the show.
Searches will be held at noon, 1:30 p.m. and 3 p.m. Potential contestants can start filling out applications for a chance to play an hour before each show. A random drawing will determine who comes up on stage.
If the weather is good, the event will be held in the parking lot by Tanger Outlet Boulevard, between the Nike Outlet Store and American Eagle. In case of rain, it will be held under the covered corridor by Kay Jewelers and the Sunglass Hut.
The Wheelmobile travels around the country looking for enthusiastic players. Everyone who attends can fill out an application to be the show, even if they are not picked to play Saturday or Sunday.
"Wheel of Fortune" airs at 7 p.m. weeknights on WCBD, channel 2.
