A small airplane had a flat tire on a short runway at Charleston International Airport Thursday afternoon, but other operations were not affected, according to a statement from the airport.
A Cessna's running gear collapsed and flattened a tire. One person was on board and was not hurt.
The plane was towed off the runway about 3:30 p.m., airport spokeswoman Becky Beaman said.
