Wet weather is expected around the Lowcountry this week before clearing up in time for the weekend, according to forecasters with the National Weather Service.
It will likely rain most of St. Patrick's Day and high temperatures aren't expected to reach higher than the 50s.
The chance of showers continues through Thursday, when forecasters expect the skies to clear up.
Temperatures on Thursday and Friday will likely reach the 70s.
A slight chance of rain returns on Saturday and partly sunny skies are expected Sunday with highs in the mid-60s.
