Charleston police are searching for two men who robbed a West Ashley McDonald's at gunpoint early Thursday morning.

According to Cpl. Fred Bowie, two masked men with guns stormed into the McDonald's restaurant at 2007 Magwood Drive and demanded money around 2:30 a.m. The restaurant is located at the Paul Cantrell Boulevard intersection.

The men stole an unknown amount of cash and ran from the restaurant, Bowie said.

The suspects were described as black men dressed in all black with ski masks, he said. Both men were about 5 feet 10 inches tall with average builds, police said.

The incident remains under investigation.
