The Berkeley County School Board on Tuesday revised its makeup-day schedule, restoring Memorial Day, May 26, as a day off.
Under the new schedule, students will make up three of the four days missed this year due to inclement weather.
The board voted to turn some scheduled half days into full days and to use two teacher work days as instructional days for students.
According to the new calendar, students will have full days of school on March 21, April 21, May 29, May 30 and June 2.
The district will publish an updated calendar at berkeley.k12.sc.us.
