A 27-year-old Goose Creek woman told police a man burst through her back door, pointed a gun at her and demanded money Monday afternoon.
Police were called to a house on Jackson Street about 4 p.m., according to the incident report. The neighborhood is off Red Bank Road near Goose Creek High School. Officers noted that the back door had been forced open and the frame was broken.
The woman said she was sitting on the couch watching television with a 3-year-old child when a tall black man with a goatee and an earring in each ear came into the room, pointed a large, shiny gun at her and asked, "Where's the check? Where's my money?"
The woman told police she didn't know the intruder and had never seen him before. She told him she didn't have any money and threw her purse to him, according to the report.
The man told her to go upstairs and was gone when she came back down. The woman said she didn't know if the intruder took anything from the house before he left.
