A suspect in a Georgetown bank robbery has been charged with another bank robbery in West Ashley.
Ryan Bonneau, 46, of Constitution Street in North Charleston was arrested Monday after a bank robbery in Georgetown. Charleston police charged him on Thursday in connection with the Feb. 4 armed robbery of First Federal Bank on Magwood Drive, police spokesman Charles Francis said. Bonneau was charged with armed robbery and possession of a firearm during the commission of a violent crime.
Two armed men entered the West Ashley bank about 11:28 am., demanded money and left, Francis said. Police were still trying to identify the second suspect.
Bonneau was being held in the Charleston County jail on $150,000 bail.
