A public hearing is scheduled Tuesday on the proposed widening of Clements Ferry Road from Interstate 526 to
Jack Primus Road.
The South Carolina Department of Transportation will hold the meeting from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. in the Daniel Island School multi-purpose room.
The drop-in format meeting will have project displays for viewing. The DOT will give a formal presentation at 6 p.m. after which public comments will be received.
Parking will be available in the northern lot beside the school on Barfield Street which is adjacent to the Berkeley County Library.
The Berkeley County One-Percent Sales and Use Tax is funding the project.
