Kidnapping victim discovered in back of vehicle in Orangeburg County

S.C. Highway Patrol troopers on Tuesday found a kidnapping victim in the back of vehicle in Orangeburg County.

The suspect vehicle was pulled over around 6:30 p.m. on Interstate 95 near the 98 mile marker, according to the Highway Patrol. Authorities were searching for the vehicle in connection with an incident that took place in Virginia, officials said.

The kidnapped person was found alive, authorities said. One person was arrested in the incident.
