A James Island Charter High School teacher was arrested last week after being accused of letting students see test answers.

Rachel Tisdale, 33, a math teacher and varsity cheerleading coach since 2004, was arrested Feb. 18, according to court records. The State Law Enforcement Division charged her with mandatory test security violation. She was released from the Charleston County jail on her own recognizance.

The school website lists her as a math teacher. A link from the school's staff directory to Tisdale's website provides personal details.

Tisdale copied a secure test booklet and let students see copies before taking the test, according to the SLED affidavit. The violation occurred between January 2008 and June 2013, according to SLED.
