College of Charleston freshman guard Joe Chealey is out indefinitely with an injured knee, the school announced Wednesday before the tipoff of the Cougars game with William & Mary.
Chealey, who had minor knee surgery on Monday, hopes to return for the Colonial Athletic Association's tournament in March.
Chealey has played in all 27 games of the season with 10 starts averaging 20.7 minutes, 6.9 points, 2.0 assists and 0.7 steals per game.
