A 21-year-old man was taken to a hospital after a shooting in North Charleston Monday night.
A shooting was reported about 5:30 p.m. at 1912 E. Montague Ave. The area is just east of Rivers Avenue.
North Charleston police found a man had been shot, and he was taken to Medical University Hospital for treatment, Capt. Scott Deckard said.
A resident who lives near the scene said he heard at least two gunshots.
Police were interviewing witnesses and did not immediately identify any suspects.
