Stingrays fall to Solar Bears on the road

Mickey Lang scored four goals in his return to Orlando (25-16-1-2) to help lead the Solar Bears to a 5-2 win over the South Carolina Stingrays on Tuesday.

South Carolina forward Peter Boyd and defenseman Drew Baker scored for the Stingrays (30-12-1-3).

Lang completed the hat trick at 10:24 of the third period and added his fourth marker of the contest at 11:42 on the power play to make it 5-1.

Baker completed the game scoring with a power-play goal at 14:25 with help from Boyd and defenseman Scott Langdon.

South Carolina finished 1 for 4 on the man advantage while the Solar Bears went 2 for 3, with Lang scoring both goals.

The Stingrays wrap up a three-game road trip Thursday against the Solar Bears.
