A house near Summerville was shot at early Monday morning.
Gunshots were reported shortly after 6 a.m. at 409 Crestwood Drive, according to the Dorchester County Sheriff's Office. The neighborhood is between Dorchester and Orangeburg roads.
Residents reported hearing nine gunshots, according to an incident report, and deputies found nine cartridges in the street. Several bullet holes were in the front of the house and another bullet hole was in the driver's door of a Nissan Altima parked out front. Two projectiles were found inside the house.
All the residents told deputies they had no idea who shot their house or why anyone would have done it.
