Previously, she was a tax manager in the Charleston office of Dixon Hughes Goodman LLP. She has a bachelor's degree in financial management from Clemson University.


Bradley Hance and Charles Spires have joined the Byers Design Group. Hance has a bachelor's degree in landscape architecture from Clemson University. Spires has bachelor's degrees in architecture and interior architecture from Auburn University.


Griffin Morrow has been named mortgage loan officer at CresCom Bank based in the West Ashley branch. Previously, he worked in the commercial lending department. Also, April Hewett has joined the West Ashley office as a retail assistant. Previously, she was front office coordinator for international programs at the University of North Carolina-Wilmington.


Edward S. Godfrey has joined North Charleston-based Life Cycle Engineering Inc. as vice president of business development responsible for partnering with Department of Defense customers and other government organizations. He has more than 36 years of experience. Previously, he was director of the ship integrity and performance engineering group at the Naval Sea Systems Command. He has a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University and a master's in management from the Florida Institute of Technology.

Emily Olson has joined Nason Medical Center as director of human resources. She has an associate degree from Trident Technical College. Previously, she was assistant to the broker-in-charge at Prudential Carolina Real Estate.


G. Troy Thames has been elected a shareholder in the Charleston office of Turner Padget Graham & Laney PA. He concentrates his practice on construction, personal injury and premises liability. He has a bachelor's degree from the U.S. Military Academy at West Point and a law degree from the University of South Carolina School of Law.

James P. Sullivan and Vincent C. Northcutt have been named partners in the Charleston office of Howser Newman and Besley LLC.

Todd previously was director of business development for a commercial contractor while running a digital marketing business.

Sweet is a licensed civil engineer and a retired member of the military.

Nicole Ortiz has joined Trina Woods & Associates at Century 21 Properties Plus as a licensed assistant. She has a bachelor's degree in music and paralegal studies from Syracuse University.


Victoria J. Luke is youth program coordinator at Magnolia Plantation and Gardens. It is a newly created position. She has a degree in wildlife and fisheries biology and a master's in parks, recreation and tourism management, both from Clemson University.
