Anonymous donors have added $4,000 to the reward for information leading in the death of an 18-year-old, bringing the fund to $5,000, according to the Charleston Police Department.
Crime Stoppers and the police are seeking help in solving the Oct. 8 homicide of Malcolm Cornett Jefferson, who was found shot in a shed at 1139 Forbes Ave.
Jefferson died at Medical University Hospital.
Police believe Jefferson was shot outside and ran inside, where people were playing cards.
