I was recently walking down Concord Street between Market Street and the current cruise ship terminal.
I came upon this State Ports Authority's warehouses on the west side of Concord Street facing the cruise ship terminal.
I imagine this sign was meant for trucks, but actually, if the captain of one of the cruise ships were to have an eagle eye, and surely they all do in keeping with the great tradition of ships and Charleston being trained to look out for man o' war and pirates, the captain would read this sign.
And I thought, wow, the state of South Carolina and the city of Charleston do care for the health and well being of their citizens.
Then I took control of my senses and thought, no, that would be laughable.
