ESPN recruiting analyst Tom Luginbill's take on the South Carolina Signing Day class of 2014, currently ranked No. 27 nationally by ESPN, but likely to go up before the end of Wednesday:
"Where I think South Carolina's really done a nice job is readdressing defensive secondary areas as well as the defensive front seven, and not just within the front - like with a guy like Dante Sawyer - but with the linebacker spot as well. A guy like Bryson Allen-Williams is a perfect fit, almost in the mold of Shaq Wilson, who was a very productive player for them. And then they've hit the junior colleges hard to get some immediate influx and maturity along their front four (with Abu Lamin and Jhaustin Thomas)."
