ESPN recruiting analyst Tom Luginbill's take on the Clemson class of 2014, currently ranked No. 13 nationally by ESPN:
"With Clemson, they've done a really good job when you consider what they knew they were going to be missing and who they had to replace quickly," Luginill said in a telephone conference call. "I think they've done it. They've done it at wide receiver, they've most certainly done it at quarterback with DeShaun Watson, who has been a very high-profile verbal commitment to them for almost two years.
"But when you look at where their needs are in this class, all their need areas are all the top five to six rated guys in the class. Whether it's Milan Richard at tight end, or Jae'lon Oglesby at running back, or Trevion Thompson at wide receiver, they've done a really nice job there.
"It's going to be a small class because the bulk of the roster is back, and if you're a Clemson fan, that's good news."
