For the third time in school history and second time in four years, the Clemson men's basketball team will be jamming in the Virgin Islands.
The 2014 Paradise Jam field was officially announced Monday, after previously being publicized in recent web reports. Clemson, LSU and Seton Hall are the major conference participants, joined by Gardner-Webb, Illinois State, Nevada, Old Dominion and Weber State.
This is the 15th annual event, taking place Nov. 21-24 at the University of the Virgin Islands in St. Thomas. Clemson was the 2001 Paradise Jam runner-up and took third place in 2010.
With no scholarship seniors on the current roster, the Tigers (14-6, 5-3) could be in line to carry their entire rotation this year to the tournament held prior to Thanksgiving. Clemson hosts Georgia Tech Tuesday night at 8 p.m.
The Clemson women's team will be in the same event for the ladies the following week, running Nov. 27-29, 2014. The Tigers will duel Illinois, Kentucky, Mississippi State, Ohio State, Oklahoma, South Florida, and Wichita State.
